Hello, World!

Hello, everybody. I am Cristian. After a long time searching for the best blogging platform, I decided to start writing on Medium. This is my first post where I am going to introduce myself and present to you what this blog will be about.

Well, I am currently a Computer Systems Networking student at the Federal Institute of Rio Grande do Norte (IFRN), Brazil. I am also an information security researcher at the same institution (yes, in Brazil some institutions encourage scientific research early).

I created this blog to share experiences/tutorials of things that I did not have a comprehensive material to follow (also to have a place for later reference). I really like my research field and IT in general, so you can expect posts related to information security, operating systems, programming, malware analysis, Linux and BSD systems, networking, etc. I also want to share some book reviews, but this is yet to be decided.

I pretend to write most of the posts in English. However, contents that I judge important for the Brazilian community will be written in Portuguese (but I can translate, of course).
